The association Capitale Culturelle Suisse was founded in Neuchâtel on 28 March 2013. It was born out of a common desire to initiate nationwide cultural projects and measures.
Chaired by Daniel Rossellat (President of the Paléo Festival Nyon), the association has around twenty members from the various regions of Switzerland who are active in the fields of culture, social affairs or communication. The members are private individuals, most of whom gained experience at the national exhibition Expo.02.
The association's first project bears its name: Swiss Capital of Culture.
An association with national appeal.
We are organised as a non-profit association within the meaning of Art. 60ff. ZGB with its registered office in Neuchâtel. The office is located in Bern.
The association is holder of the label Capitale Culturelle Suisse.
The members of the association work as volunteers - with heart and joy.
