On Friday, 22.10.2021, Myriam Neuhaus presented the idea of the Swiss Capital of Culture on the occasion of HELGA, the Swiss Symposium for Scenography and Communication in Space at the HGK in Basel. An alternative concept to a national exhibition.

As a special programme item, a round table with Expo 2027 initiatives will take place. Students from the Interior Design and Scenography Bachelor's programme and the Scenography Master's studio had studied the individual initiatives in the run-up to HELGA and put them under the microscope. At the "EXPO 27 round table", it is the task of the next generation of scenographers to critically question the individual initiatives.
