The city of La Chaux-de-Fonds is applying for the title of Switzerland's first Capital of Culture. The label will be awarded by an independent jury of the Swiss Capital of Culture | Capitale Culturelle Suisse (CCS) association. The jury is chaired by Daniel Rossellat, President of the City of Nyon and founder of the Paléo Festival.

The Swiss Capital of Culture project has reached an important milestone with its inclusion in the Federal Council's Cultural Dispatch 2025-2028.

The Association CCS is inviting media professionals to La Chaux-de-Fonds for this purpose. It would like to organise an informal meeting that will allow an exchange with the main actors of the project as well as the members of the jury and the association CCS.
