This time, the national jury is meeting in La Chaux-de-Fonds, where the first Swiss Capital of Culture is due to take place in 2027. Insight into a day filled with an update on the project, discussions and Q&A sessions.

In the afternoon, some of the locations that will be used in 2027 will be visited and tested - along the user experience.

The jury, made up of ten members of the cultural and business scene from all over Switzerland, was impressed by the architecture and the integral and inclusive approach of the project.

Chaired by Daniel Rossellat, President of the association CCS, they recognise the very positive development of La Chaux-de-Fonds' bid to become the Swiss Capital of Culture in 2027 and approves the project - with one reservation.

La Chaux-de-Fonds, candidate for Switzerland's first Capital of Culture in 2027, has thus reached an important milestone.
