Carine Zuber, a well-known jazz specialist on the Swiss cultural scene, directed the Moods in Zurich from 2013 to 2021. She has a wealth of experience in the fields of jazz, the organisation of cultural events and the promotion of culture. From 1999 to 2015 she was responsible for programming the Cully Jazz Festival, and in 2010 she co-founded the Cosmo Jazz Festival in Chamonix (F). At Expo.02 Carine Zuber was project manager, responsible for the two legendary clubs "Le Cargo" (Neuchâtel) and "Le Mondial" (Yverdon-les-Bains).
Since 2010, she has been head of the bilingual office of the cultural commissions of the canton of Berne, and prior to that, administrative director of the Théâtre Bienne Soleure. She was also a member of the Pro Helvetia Board of Trustees, chairing the music expert group from 2005 to 2011. Since 2013 she has chaired the Suisse Diagonales Jazz and is artistic director of the Alpentöne Festival. She is also currently supporting Stephan Eicher on his Mani Matter tribute tour.
